Substantive Errors
A substantive error significantly impacts the classification or overall interpretation of an article. In such cases, we issue a correction article linked to the original piece and update the text to reflect the new information, including the nature of the changes and their effective date.
Below is a list of corrections that have been made:
August 20, 2025 - The fact-check was updated to remove a sentence that stated Mané's official Twitter account is @SMane_Officiel and not @TheSadioMane, as claimed in the screenshots. The correction was made after receiving information indicating that Mané does not have an account on X (formerly Twitter). See the fact-check.
February 16, 2024 - The fact-check was updated to rectify a mistake that identified the building in the video as Gaza’s Parliament building. See the fact-check.
