Misbar Monitors 13 U.S. Military Cargo Flights to Middle East in 12 Hours
Misbar’s team at Al-Araby TV reported on April 5 that military cargo movements between Europe and the Middle East have intensified. Flight-tracking data from Flightradar24 showed significant U.S. Air Force cargo activity over a 12-hour period.
The data recorded at least 13 flights of U.S. C-17A cargo planes since 00:00 GMT, most likely landing in Israel. These aircraft typically turn off tracking systems when entering Israeli airspace and reactivate them upon departure.
Most flights originated from Ramstein Air Base in Rhineland-Palatinate, southwestern Germany, a key hub for U.S. Air Force operations in Europe and Africa that also hosts NATO’s Air Command headquarters.
Misbar’s team has observed similar spikes in military cargo activity several times over the past two weeks, coinciding with the 10-day deadline set by U.S. President Donald Trump on March 27.
C-17A Globemaster III Features
The C-17A Globemaster III serves as a strategic and tactical airlift platform, capable of transporting military personnel and heavy equipment, including tanks and helicopters, in complex operational environments. It has a maximum payload of 170,900 pounds, a range exceeding 6,200 nautical miles, and can be refueled in flight.
Misbar’s team observed heavy use of the aircraft by U.S. forces in the Middle East, coinciding with the outbreak of the war on February 28.
