BAVAN Tanker Data
The vessel has sailed under several flags since entering service in 2021. It initially flew the Chinese flag from April 2021 to July 2024, then the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis until August 2025, before adopting the Iranian flag.
It has also been known under multiple names, including “GUANGHUI 328,” “SHAN GANG Y0U YUN 8” and “FR PRIDE,” before being renamed “BAVAN.”

BAVAN Tanker Route
Maritime tracking data monitored by Misbar show that the vessel BAVAN moved on April 16 and arrived on Tuesday, April 21. It had previously followed the same route in reverse between April 8 and 11.
The movements come amid a U.S. blockade on all Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, in effect since April 13.
