Two Flydubai Planes Arrive in Tabuk for Passengers of Diverted Tel Aviv Flight
Misbar’s team at Al-Araby TV tracked two Flydubai planes on Flightradar24 after they departed Dubai International Airport for Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia to pick up passengers from flight FZ1073. The flight was diverted from Tel Aviv to Tabuk following an incident on board. Israeli news outlet Ynet later reported that the incident involved a dispute between the pilots, rather than a hijacking.
Israeli media reported that Flydubai had notified Israeli authorities that it would send a replacement plane from Dubai to Saudi Arabia to pick up the passengers and fly them to Ben Gurion Airport.
Flight Tracking Data Shows Two Flydubai Planes’ Routes Between Dubai and Tabuk
According to flight-tracking data, the first plane, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 operating as FZ8455/FDB8455, with registration A6-FKR and serial number MSN 61026, departed Dubai International Airport at about 8:56 a.m. UTC and approached Tabuk Airport at around 11:22 a.m. UTC. It flew at a barometric altitude of 23,500 feet and reached a ground speed of 397 knots.
The second plane, also a Boeing 737 MAX 8 operating as FZ8635/FDB8635, with registration A6-FKJ and serial number MSN 61007, departed Dubai International Airport at 9:51 a.m. UTC and reached the Tabuk area at about 12:18 p.m. UTC.
Misbar’s team also tracked the first plane as it departed Tabuk Airport at 2:19 p.m. UTC, heading toward the occupied Palestinian territories, although no final destination was listed.
The tracking data came as Tabuk Airport announced that the Flydubai passengers had departed the airport at 5:40 p.m. local time for their final destination.

Flydubai FZ1073 Diverted After Cockpit Altercation
An Israeli official, citing Reuters, said the flight had departed Dubai with 174 passengers bound for Tel Aviv when it issued a general emergency signal over Jordanian airspace, followed by a second signal indicating possible unlawful interference after a violent altercation in the cockpit. The airport said it received a distress call from the plane at 8:44 a.m.
Israeli sources reported that both pilots were injured and taken to a hospital. Passengers told Israeli media they heard shouting before the cockpit door was opened, revealing that one of the pilots had been injured and was bleeding. Passengers and crew members then managed to restrain the other pilot. Misbar could not independently verify the accounts, which have not been officially confirmed by Flydubai or Saudi authorities.
