 The tagline “CBS deceptively used a 2016 photograph showing a child from Ukraine suffering from a coxsackievirus infection” circulated across social media platforms starting in late May 2020. The claim originated from on Gateway Pundit titled: “They did it Again! CBS Caught Using Photo from Ukraine in 2016 in Their ‘Panic Porn’ on Coronavirus in Children.”
