Fox News Misleading Claims About Qatar Financing Hezbollah

In early August 2020, Fox News published a report claiming that Qatar supplies Hezbollah with money and weapons. The report claimed that a private security contractor, Jason G., revealed that a member of the royal family allegedly authorized the delivery of military hardware to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Jason G., claims he penetrated a Qatar’s weapons procurement business as part of an apparent sting operation. Fox News showed several documents proving a direct link to Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Suliman al-Khulaifi, Qatar’s Ambassador to Belgium and the NATO, being involved in terror financing accusations. The claims by Fox News were spread and circulated by social media and news websites.
