In late July, 2020, the blog The 13th Floor published an article with the headline, “Did Adolf Hitler Really Invent the Sex Doll?” The title of the article was subsequently morphed into an implied claim and went viral on social media, specifically Twitter, with users claiming in the affirmative that Hitler did in fact invent the sex doll.
