Portland Mayor is Not Moving out of his City Due to Protests

The Black Lives Matter protests/riots, which rocked 55 cities in the US this summer 2020, are still going strong in Portland, Oregon, where riot police have been battling protestors for three months. After rioters attacked the Portland mayor’s neighborhood and ransacked his building specifically, news circulated on social media and in the mainstream that the mayor was planning to move out of the city to avoid the violence.
