House Member Voted After Clearing Quarantine

On January 29, 2021, House of Representatives member Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted that “COVID positive members were allowed on the House floor by @SpeakerPelosi.”

The proof in her post included a screenshot of a tweet by Craig Caplan, that says “Wisconsin Democratic Rep. Gwen Moore, who was recently in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19, was on the House floor today in the front row voting in the 117th Congress House Speaker election for Nancy Pelosi."

The reactions to Marjorie Taylor Greene’s tweet ranged from blaming Nancy Pelosi and calling the Democrats hypocrites to calling for the removal of Marjorie Taylor Greene from Congress.
