Boris Johnson Ups Nuclear Weapons Stockpile

On March 16, 2021, UK prime minister Boris Johnson announced a plan to “boost international trade and deploy soft power around the world.” This plan takes the form of a 112 page document. On page 76 of this plan, the new government initiative for nuclear weapons is outlined. 

Sources then claim that the plan aims to increase the number of nuclear weapons that the UK possesses by over 40%.
