Recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine have reported flu-like symptoms, sore arms, and a myriad of other effects. Recently, some women on Twitter have reported experiencing heavier periods after getting inoculated.

Some women said that their periods began earlier, too. One reported that she had started her period 2.5 weeks before her usual time. These tweets were written about on various websites, including the Daily Mail and Health.
