Hawaii Will Continue to Accept Out-of-State Driver’s Licenses

On June 15, the Facebook group “The State of Hawaii” posted about a change to Hawaii’s laws that would make out-of-state driver’s licenses invalid.

The post claims the legislature was prompted because the majority of accidents in Hawaii are created by “people that didn’t learn to drive here” and do not possess the “Drive with Aloha” mentality. Social media users wanted clarification.
