Eric Clapton’s Health Issues Likely Caused By Preexisting Condition, Not Vaccine

In mid-June, the musician Eric Clapton appeared in a YouTube video in which he claimed that his COVID vaccination shots had given him extreme health issues. He stated that he had experienced a wave of initial side effects, such as shaking and fever, which allegedly lasted for one week. He then claimed that the second shot was even worse than the first blaming the vaccine for ongoing pain and a loss of function in his hands. Lastly, Clapton promoted an anti-vaccine Telegram page, which he said made him realize that the vaccine had caused his issues. 

The YouTube video has gained almost 400,000 views within a month. His claims have been shared in social media posts which have managed to gain thousands of interactions.
