No Evidence To Link COVID-19 Vaccine To Athletes’ Collapses

Social media users are circulating a claim that there is an increase in athletes collapsing due to heart related conditions caused by the COVID-19 vaccine. Some users shared links to articles, particularly here and here, where each article lists athletes affected.  Some users questioned the link between the vaccine and the collapses, implying the COVID-19 vaccine was the cause, while others explicitly stated it was. Verified accounts also shared the claim.
