‘The Simpsons’ Did Not Predict Twitter's New Logo, "X"

Following Twitter's rebranding of its logo to "X," social media users alleged that "The Simpsons" television show had predicted this change. 

The claims were shared along with an image circulating online, supposedly showing Homer Simpson's Twitter page on a smartphone screen, where a distinctive "X" shaped icon appeared at the bottom of the screen. 

“No way Simpsons also predicted twitter's logo,” a user tweeted.
