Social media users widely circulated a video purporting to show a substantial explosion at a chemical plant north of Tel Aviv.

Accompanying the video, a Twitter post asserted, “BREAKING: A huge explosion has happened at a chemical plant north of #TelAviv in #Israel The explosion happened at Hasharon Industrial Complex which is a factory for the production of weapons, ammunition and explosives.”
