Israeli trolls drew a parallel between the alleged Klimt painting and the Israeli users who widely shared an image of a painting, claiming Gustav Klimt painted it in the 1930s as a portrait of a Jewish woman in Vienna who later perished in the Holocaust, linking it to the Bibas family.

An Instagram user posted the image with the caption, “It says that in the 1930s, Gustav Klimt paint this. It’s a portrait of a woman with 2 children that later died in the holocaust. The history repeats itself. Sad. Nightmare.”
