Video Does Not Show Palestinian Flag Placed Atop Bonfire in Northern Ireland

Social media users recently circulated a video claiming to show a bonfire in Northern Ireland burning a replica of a migrant boat and a large effigy of the Palestinian flag.

The claim originated from Israeli propagandist Eyal Yakoby, who first posted it before it spread widely on X. His post read, “In Northern Ireland, a bonfire was set up featuring a migrant boat and a giant Palestinian flag effigy. Europeans have had enough.”
