This Photo Does Not Feature Israeli soldier Avivah Cohen

Social media users circulated a photo that  allegedly shows Israeli soldier  Avivah Cohen, who was recently killed in Gaza. 

An X account named “International Observer” posted the photo with the caption: “Israeli female soldier Avivah Cohen has been killed in Gaza by Palestine resistance fighters.”

Another account on Threads named “drmahmoudmorshedy” shared the photo and commented, “Yesterday morning, Avivah Cohen went out dreaming of ‘eliminating Hamas,’ but Hamas drew up the ultimate solution for her. She fell into a well-planned ambush. Your news is inspiring.”
