In an attempt to discredit testimonies of Greta Thunberg’s abuse during detention, Israeli trolls circulated a photo purporting to show an Israeli soldier handing the Swedish climate activist a sandwich.

An X user shared the photo with the caption, “Greta Thunberg detained by Israeli military, offered a sandwich and jacket. Humanitarian gesture or propaganda?”
