Video of Nigerian Soldier Imposter Smuggling Ammunition Is Outdated

Social media users have circulated a 1:56-minute video showing several men in military uniform searching another handcuffed and uniformed man and discovering that he was hiding ammunition under his clothing.

The users who shared the clip claim it shows the Nigerian army recently arresting a “repentant” Boko Haram member who had allegedly been recruited into the military and was caught smuggling ammunition back to the terrorists.
