Emerging story

Social media users have circulated a video claiming it shows Colombian President Gustavo Petro addressing Donald Trump after the U.S. military operation in Venezuela, in which he says: “Don’t threaten me. I’m waiting for you here if you want. I do not accept invasions. I do not accept missiles. I do not accept murders. I accept intelligence.”

“Come talk to me with intelligence and we will receive it. We speak from person to person, with real numbers, not with lies. Stop fooling yourself with the Colombian political mafias because they condemned us to 700 thousand deaths, to being the most unequal country in the world,” a user claimed that the Colombian president said while addressing Trump.

Don’t threaten me. I’m waiting for you here if you want. I do not accept invasions.
