Video Does Not Show U.S. Military Taking Control of Marinera Tanker

After the United States military seized a Russian-flagged oil tanker, social media users widely circulated a video claiming to show U.S. special forces boarding the vessel. 

An X user shared the footage with the caption, “This is the moment U.S. Special Forces successfully boarded the Russian-flagged, Iranian-linked oil tanker Marinera in the Atlantic Ocean. I’m beginning to think the U.S. is mightier than we assumed.”
