Old Video Falsely Linked to Protests Over ICE Shooting of U.S. Citizen

Social media users have circulated footage showing a building engulfed in flames and thick smoke rising, claiming it depicts protesters in the U.S. setting fire to buildings linked to “extremist Trump supporters” amid escalating protests.

“Protesters in America set fire to buildings linked to extremist Trump supporters amid an unprecedented wave of escalation. The narrative is flipping and political violence is now deep inside America’s own streets,” a user wrote on X.

“America is on edge. Protesters torch sites linked to extremist Trump loyalists as rage spills into the streets, marking a dangerous turn where political warfare is no longer rhetoric it’s raw, violent, and burning at home,” another user wrote.
