Recently, social media users circulated a video claiming to show close-up, high-precision aerial footage filmed by drones belonging to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) near the Arabian Gulf, portraying it as part of preparations for potential retaliatory operations.

The posts alleged that the footage demonstrates the full capability of the IRGC and the Artesh (Iran’s regular army) to target and strike U.S. naval forces deployed in the Middle East.
