Did Satellite Images Reveal Damage to an Israeli Base After the 12-Day War With Iran?

Social media accounts have recently circulated satellite images claiming to show the aftermath of Iranian strikes on Israel’s Nevatim Air Base, southeast of Beersheba, during the Israeli-Iranian war in June 2025.

According to the claim, the images show the base before and after the Iranian attacks: the image on the left allegedly depicts the base prior to the strikes, while the other shows damage caused by the bombardment. The accounts also asserted that the images were published only after being captured by a newly launched Iranian satellite.
