Recently, social media users shared two images of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, claiming he attended two Group E matches in the final round of the 2026 World Cup group stage: Germany vs. Ecuador and Côte d’Ivoire vs. Curaçao, which were held simultaneously in two different cities.

The first image shows Infantino in a stadium suite during the Germany–Ecuador match at the 1:51 mark, while the second shows him in a stadium suite during the Côte d’Ivoire–Curaçao match at the 11:25 mark. Posts questioned how Infantino could have attended both matches at the same time despite the matches taking place in different cities.
