Video Is Not of a U.S. Fighter Jet Burning After Being Hit by Iran

Social media users shared a video claiming it shows an Iranian air defense system striking a U.S. F-16 fighter jet during an attempted strike on Qeshm Island in southern Iran. Posts accompanying the footage also claimed the incident demonstrated the advancement of Iran’s air defense capabilities compared with before the current conflict.
